We are the North Carolina ISTE affiliate. Announcements and Important Information Conference 2021 - MotivatED & BOLD! T hank you all for your patience with NCTIES as we navigate these uncharted waters COVID-19 has created. Over the past 50 years, our organization has encountered obstacles, and has overcome them. This year will be no different. Because of you, we are motivated to move forward and create a new experience for educators. Our March 2021 conference will go on ! Planning to bring thousands of you together in the midst of a public health crisis presented us with difficult choices. We weighed the pros and cons of having some type of face-to-face event, but in the end it was a risk we could not take - you mean the world to us. This year, our gathering will be 100% virtual . We are also thrilled to announce that we are partnering with NCDPI to combine NCTIES 2021 with the Spring edition of NCBOLD. The conference will be held March 4-8, 2021 . This shift in dates will allow for us to offer opportunities for professional learning events in the evenings and over the weekend. We are moving forward with our Call for Presenters. In anticipation of our modified format, you will notice some additional questions. We are eagerly awaiting your always innovative presentation ideas. The deadline for submitting your proposals is December 16, 2020. In these uncertain times, one thing we are sure of is that North Carolina educators remain: We will update everyone and announce this year’s featured speakers when registration opens. In the meantime, we can’t WAIT to read your session proposals and learn from - and with - you all in March of 2021! Call for Proposals Coming Soon! Interested in Blogging for NCTIES?
